The HTML content of these pages is taken from the text files submitted by our members. If on disk or by e_mail it is converted to ascii format in the wordprocessor Wordworth 7. If on paper it is typed into the same program.
The picture content is scanned in from a Umax SCSI flatbed scanner using the program Photoscope, and edited to size in Photgenics 2, previously this was done by placing photographs in front of a video camera adigitising into Photogenics via a ProGrab24RT. Logos are normally processed to GIF files in Personal Paint 7.
The basic HTML for each page was generated in Wordworth7 with the supplied AREXX Wizard, new pages are now made by taking the template from this and inporting text in Pagestream 3.3 and exporting as ascii. Final testing is done in IBrowse and any alterations made on the display source screen and saved out. To check for cross platform compatibility is is viewed on-line in Netscape Navigator 3 in my rest period at work
