RANSOM DEMAND

I have your loved ones. You will do exactly as I tell you. If you fail to comply I shall do horrific things to them involving cellotape and Jeffery Archer novels. If you wish to see them returned unharmed you must come and see:-

The Custard Cavalier

By Peter Fortune

Thursday 11th - Saturday 13th July

Box Office & Bar 7.30pm

Performances 8pm

THE play revolves around Nick Ryman, an irresponsible, irrepressible, irritating scamp of a chap. He is unaware of how his selfish existence affects those closest to him. Maria, Nick's long suffering girlfriend and Joe, his 'best-est' chum, try to drag him into adulthood to do grown-up things like watch the news and not laugh when somebody farts. Nick refuses, and blows a raspberry at them.

What begins as an amusing romp turns into an emotional roller-coaster as Joe starts to rethink his friendship with Nick, and Maria seeks solace from Mike, her suave, sophisticated Boss. Slowly everything in Nick's life is torn away even things he didn't realise he had.

The Custard Cavalier presents the brand spanking new talent of Richard Ely, the relatively new talent of Emma Howcutt, the now old hand James Newell and the sorry old sod Steve Ellis. Come along and enjoy a funny, sad but most of all entertaining evening of friendship, rivalry and custard.

This play may not be entirely suitable for young children or my Grandmother.

.....................and remember Jeffery Archer novels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
