1982

The Bell Theatre show was "An Italian Straw Hat" which ran from 6th - 13th November with Matinees on both Saturdays. This was directed by Jill Clark with a cast too large to mention by name.

Auditions for "Kaleidescope '83" ( "The last Day of November" by John Yorath, , director Bruce Murray; "Post-Mortum" bt Brian Clark, director Bill Merrow: "Mutatis Mutandis" by David Campton, director Norma Tagliavini and "The Golden Pathway Annual" by John Harding and Jon Burrows director Pam Lyne) were held on 16th. The shows were for 4 nights on successive weeks in February 1983 in the Bell Theatre.

1987

The Bell Theatre show from 1st - 7th was "Pack of Lies" by Hugh Whitemore directed by Charlie Cheetham, with Robert Silver, Maggie Cearns, Meryl O'Rourke, Ruth Shettle, Les Lidyard, John Lyne and Gillian Holmes

Auitions were held on 10th & 12th for "City Sugar" by Stephn Poliakoff, to be directed in the Bell Theatre by Adrian Bascombe in Feb 1988 and also for "Goo Joo", to be directed by Eva O'Rourke in Prompt Corner, January 1988.

On 21st the Members Club turned into the "Woodery Wine Bar".

1992

The SLTC 25th Anniversary production was "The Merry Wives of Windsor" in the Bell Theatre from 6th - 14th, directed by Jill Clark

The Prompt corner show from 27th - 29th was "Costa Del Packet" by Anthony Booth, directed by Peter Barker with Fiona Scott, Melanie Sullivan Sandy Girling, Alison Pitman and Gail Arnold

Auditions were held on 17th & 19th for "Shut your eyes and think of England" by John Chapman & Anthony Marriot to be directed in the Bell Theatre in Feb. 1993 by Malcolm Woodman.

The Members Club had an 80's Spectacular disco on 21st.

1997

The Members' Club gave us a Haloween Party on the 1st to start the month.

The Bell Theatre show from 4th - 8th was "The Killing of Sister George" by Frank Marcus, directed by Juliet Male with Claire Ewen, Kait Feeney, Juliet Mills and Karen Nott (Kait was replaced by Helen Chadney at short notice before the show went on). Prompt Corner advertised rehearsed readings of "Generations Apart" by Brendan Hennesy on 14th & 15th and a mime show by Dorin Rimbu from 21st - 23rd.

Auditions were held on 19th & 21st for "A Slice of Saturday Night" by The Heather Brothers to be directed in the Bell Theatre by Mike Ainsworth in March 1998.

A "Meet the directors" evening was held in the bar on 12th with the directors of the new season in attendance.

The members had "Quiz Night - the Sequel" on 22nd and announced that a new Glass Washing Machine was to be purchased.
