This is the true story of three, young intelligent people who all shared the same beliefs that society was beneath them and that they were above everyone else.
Jane meets Ruth at University and the pair strike up a unique friendship, isolated from their peers. When Jane falls in love with Stephen, he moves in with Jane, who shares a house with Ruth. However, when Stephen falls in love with Ruth, a serious love triangle begins, that has disastrous consequences for all involved!
Why did they long to join an extremist organization? Why did Ruth and Stephen fly to America without Jane?
Why did they learn how to use unlicensed firearms?
What caused their dark souls to implode?
Jane 22 yrs. Cold, passionate and intelligent young woman with confidence.
Ruth 21 yrs. Her friend, also intelligent, though initially lacks confidence.
Stephen 21 yrs. Young, moody unemployed loner; the catalyst.

This is a challenging and exciting piece of new drama, based on true events, and is another premier for the SLT.
Ages are fairly flexible for Jane, Ruth and Stephen; if you're older and can look younger then this is fine and H and J could be played by anyone over 30. There are two very strong female parts in Jane and Ruth, with Jane being the leading part, though both Ruth and Stephen are equally strong as well. Don't be put off by the American accents, as this can be worked on.
