The Country Wife
Tues 2nd - Sat 6th September
The Play: When I started this venture I described this piece of restoration raunch as arguably the funniest of its genre. Well after a month of laughter Im removing the arguably. If youre after a shallow night of bawdy humour then this is definitely for you. We are not talking panto here mind you. This is a stylish demanding play that asks a huge amount of its players. Which brings me to
The Cast: Quite simply the finest, funniest, most professional ensemble Ive ever worked with and those of you who know me well will appreciate what kind of compliment that is. I wont name names.no actually I will !

Mr Stuart Draper, Master of the understated and subtle.
Mr Duncan Hart, lives in Stevenage.

Chris's Leahmoth and Bennett in stirling support
David Lomas not once mentioning a certain home for the mentally challenge.
Our very own Bar Chairman Mazza Buss.
The Sublime Ms Cara Thomas (Who P.A.d for Stuey and still came back).
The incomparable Mandy Reed (Slutty parts a forte)
AND JOHN MACALEANEY AS THE BOY
Oh and Lionel Monks as God or Aallah or Bhudda I mean a parson.
